Just became an uncle yesterday

This post is a follow up from this post I made last month.

As of yesterday afternoon EST/EDT, I have officially become an uncle. My older brother’s wife had her baby. A baby girl. 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and 21.25 inches long. Baby’s name is Lydia Joy by the way.

At this point forward, you can optionally call me Uncle D-Pad Doc, Uncle Carlo, Uncle Neomysterion, or Uncle Plushie et al if you so desire.

So I’m going to become an uncle soon

Long time no see everyone. I really don’t post much about my actual life, but word on the street is that my older brother and his wife are having a baby girl that will be due later next month (July 2020). In other terms, I will officially become an uncle real soon. You can address me as Uncle D-Pad, Uncle Neomysterion, Uncle Plushie et al if you guys/gals want when my niece comes around.

I don’t plan on having kids of my own anytime soon (I’ve been single all my life), it doesn’t stop my older brother and younger sister from having them. Having a niece or nephew that will come to visit me every now and then will be a life-changing experience for an introverted fella like me.

I do plan on getting my future niece into a chunk of the same things that interested me over the years and more. This includes comics and animation, manga and anime, (not so) retro gaming, virtual pet sites, Red Green Show, and more.

I don’t know if Neopets will still be around once my future niece becomes old enough to fun around the site like how I and some of my old friends did back almost a decade ago. My niece will never experience the joy of playing Flash games or watching Flash webtoons like how I did back in my youth with Flash being deader than two doornails after 2020.

I don’t know if the Nintendo Switch will still reign supreme if my niece gets older, or will Nintendo put out a successor by then. I know that 3DS and Wii U online may be dead when my niece becomes old enough to play proper video games. RIP Wonder Trading OP Shinies, Mythicals, and Events in the 3DS Pokémon games if that’s the case.

I’ll update this post when I think of more stuff, I have Altador Cup matters to attend to. See you real soon!
